Bucket List Trips

Bucket list trips are often dreamed about for years. I’ve always dreamed of traveling the world over. Seeing and experiencing different cultures, culinary delights, historical sites, meeting people from different places. I have traveled extensively, but I still have a lot of ground (and air) to cover still. Some trips you can do in a weekend, some take weeks. This high ticket longer than normal vacations is what fall into the bucket list.

Safari in Africa

This is a bucket list trip for many. Luxury African vacations require money and planning. With so much to experience, a well-planned vacation will tick all the boxes. I have long wanted to experience the big five (lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, elephants and buffalo. I would be over the moon to experience gorilla trekking in Rwanda. How amazing would that be? With the lock down even more people are now dreaming of a bucket list trip to Africa, especially since we are doing more outdoor activities these days. 2021 is looking pretty full already for Safaris.

Over the Water Bungalow in Bora Bora

Ask just about any newlywed about the perfect honeymoon dream and many will say staying in an over the water bungalow in Bora Bora. Huts perched over the water where you can awaken and drive right into the water. Snuggled together in your bed, you can hear the fish swimming underneath you. After a quick swim, enjoy breakfast together on the deck.

Sleep in an Ice Hotel in Sweden

This hotel is a work of art as much as a hotel. Every year in the village of Jukkasjärvi, in northern Sweden, the IceHotel is built from natural ice and snow. The temperature is a balmy negative 5 degrees. From floor to ceiling, the artwork blankets the walls. If you are lucky, you can catch the northern lights from the bank of the river as well.
