SIMPLY SCOTTSDALE

Simply Scottsdale

I have been craving a getaway as I haven’t travelled in the month of December yet. So, Richard and I are off to Scottsdale Arizona for a 3-day weekend. We will work from the pool on Friday and then enjoy the weekend with warmer weather than in Colorado. Have you ever thought about a long weekend getaway domestically? I will admit I am usually a “long distance” traveler. Simply Scottsdale, I thought I would introduce you to some resorts that you could enjoy during a long weekend here.

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

As a Virtuoso hotel, this one is sure to please. Numerous restaurants, an amazing spa and known for “playcation”. From the Best of the Best Virtuoso – Experience the Southwest in Five Diamond style at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess set amid the bright-green cottonwoods and majestic purple mountains in the Valley of the Sun. Fairmont Scottsdale offers the highly acclaimed Well & Being Spa with rooftop swimming pool and waterfall grotto plus two championship golf courses at TPC Scottsdale. Six pools and four signature restaurants vie for your attention, including Bourbon Steak, masterminded by Michael Mina; La Hacienda by Richard Sandoval; Toro Latin Restaurant and Rum Bar at TPC Scottsdale; and Ironwood American Kitchen. Don’t miss the newly renovated guest rooms and Princess Pool! Their spa is 44,000 SF!

Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

As above, when you book a Virtuoso hotel, you also get amenities from your travel advisor, such as free breakfast for 2 people daily, $100 resort credit, early/late check-in and checkout as well as upgrade upon arrival (subject to availability). Wonderful perks, right? The Best of the Best from Virtuoso – The legendary “Grand Dame” luxury escape has been recognized since opening in 1929 for its distinctive Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired architectural style. These new enhancements will reveal a thoughtful re-envisioning that retains the essence of the Wright design while infusing glamorous touches that appeal to the desires of today’s discriminating traveler. A sophisticated adult pool, a fun family pool, an incredible outdoor bar, fresh spa & fitness facilities and dining options give our enduring resort new life, while honoring our incredible past.

The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort

Let’s explore this contemporary boutique resort. You can receive all the same amenities as listed above with the last property and the simplicity of this amazing resort. Per the Best of the Best Virtuoso – With a fresh, contemporary elegance that captures the beauty of its Sonoran Desert surroundings. The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician is the only Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond hotel in the Valley of the Sun. The 60-room property, composed of 40 luxurious suites and 20 guest rooms, features many exclusive offerings. Such as, a private pool and daily, complimentary artisan breakfast at the Canyon Lounge. In addition, the resort within a resort provides guests access to the signature services and amenities of The Phoenician, which recently completed an extensive transformation to include new dining, pool, and spa offerings.

If you need a long weekend getaway, reach out and let’s discuss some options. Of course, you can book these directly on my website, as long as if you only need the hotel booking.
