NEW YEAR’S WEEKEND

New Year’s Weekend

Holidays get crazy busy and sometimes you just need to escape after the holiday madness. New Year’s is a great excuse to get away for a quick weekend trip and experience something new! Last minute New Year’s weekend get-away is an adventure you won’t want to miss!

New York City for New Year’s Weekend

New York City is one of the most famous places to spend New Year’s Eve. Millions join in each year in person and on TV to watch the ball drop at midnight. However, if you want to stay away from the crowds but still feel part of the festivities, you could get dressed up for a night out at an extravagant night club or a mellow bar and restaurant. If a club or bar is not what you are looking for there are always options for concerts or shows and a New Year’s Eve cruise along the Hudson and East rivers. There is plenty to do in New York City on New Year’s Eve and plenty to see for the days after the big holiday!

Florida for New Year’s Weekend

Maybe you are looking for somewhere a little warmer than New York. Spend a couple days soaking up the sun during the day next to the pool or beach, and then head to Miami Beach. Miami always has big events planned for New Year’s Eve. Fireworks over Biscayne Bay, VIP events, the rise of the Big Orange and so many more plans for an epic night of celebration! Or you may want a family get-away. New Year’s Eve is not very kid friendly, but when you head to Orlando it is a sure bet your family will have a blast. Orlando offers celebrations at Universal Studios and of course at each theme of the other theme parks. Sunny Florida is always a great place to spend time, especially on New Year’s Eve.

Skip the parties and big cities

If you are not into nightlife or you are ready to relax instead of being a part of the hustle and bustle that is all things New Year’s Eve, spend the weekend in a smaller, low-key area. Kick off the new year in Teton Village, Wyoming. Go snowmobiling, sledding, take a winter wildlife tour and then relax while you sip your warm beverage in the hot tub while it’s snowing. If snow isn’t what you are looking for then perhaps, Calistoga, California. It is nestled in Napa Valley, known for its hot springs and mud baths. Calistoga is the perfect place to rest and relax after the holiday madness. Possibly you want to go a little further away and spend time in a luxury all-inclusive resort in Mexico! Unwind at the pool, or beach, sip cocktails, watch the fireworks and reset for the New Year that is upon us.
