LISBON

Let’s talk about Lisbon. This is one of the most underrated capitals in Western Europe. This capital city started as a trading port back in 1200 BC. However, most of the capital city was destroyed in an earthquake in the 1700s. Lisbon has the nickname of the “City of Light”. TUSCANY WINE ESTATE

Richard and I decided to get out of Florence for a day to visit a picturesque wine estate in Tuscany. The property was called Torre A Cona. It was built in 1066 originally as a castle, and later changed to a country estate . Torre A Cona has a large swimming (with a second on the horizon) as well a restaurant and bar area. This Tuscany wine estate is a great way to see the iconic Tuscan countryside.

TUSCANY ITALY

Richard and I are off to Italy next week and we are so ready to go (well, except I haven’t started packing at all yet). But we cannot wait to be back in our favorite country together this time. While thinking about my blog for this week, I thought it should be about Italy in some fashion. I am actually returning to Italy in November too for a wine/luxury hotel conference, and we are staying in Barga, which is an area of Tuscany Italy I haven’t been to before.

ESSENCE OF LUXURY TRAVEL

There are multiple reasons why people travel. Whether it be a business trip, visiting a friend, reuniting with family, or just a vacation, traveling is something we all do.
