The warm climate and turquoise waters invite tourists throughout the year. Cuba has plenty of fantastic beach resorts where you can kick back and relax while enjoying a delicious mojito. Here are five great Cuban beaches to consider visiting on your next trip to Cuba.

Varadero Beach

Varadero Beach

This Beach is the most famous beach, and one of the largest resort areas in Cuba. Varadero is best known as a tourist resort town, with more than 20 km of white sandy beaches. All around Varadero beach guests have access to multiple hotels and resorts to enjoy.

Tourists can enjoy yoga, dance exercises, and even cooking classes, which are provided by many of the resorts. Varadero beach has cultural, historical, and environmental attractions in the vicinity; such as the cities of Matanzas and Cárdenas, the Zapata Peninsula, and the resort of San Miguel de Los Baños. If you aren’t interested in all of this you can also explore the beautiful encompassing territories and discover so much in the beautiful outdoors of Varadero beach.

Playa Ancon Beach

Playa Ancon is a beautiful tourist beach that is near many seaside resorts. Here the coral rocks are ideal for rummaging for conch shells, and around seven miles toward the north is where you’ll locate the little Spanish frontier town of Trinidad. In Trinidad, you’ll be able to see where the cobblestone lanes and structures have been saved from the 1800s.

Cayos Coco and Guillermo Beaches

The shallow water in Cayos Coco and Guillermo are perfect for those who enjoy water sports such as kayaking, cruising, and windsurfing. It’s also an ideal place to kick back with a drink and enjoy a nice sunny day.

Guardalavaca Beach

In Guardalavaca merchants around the city sell many different crafts, purses, and assortments that are great to bring back home as a souvenir. Also, beaches in Guardalavaca include Guardalavaca Beach, Playa Esmeralda, Don Lino, and Bahia de Naranjo. This stretch of shoreline is surrounded by beautiful resorts which are perfect for anyone who would like to explore multiple beaches in Cuba.

Playa Sirena

This shoreline lies on the western end of Cayo Largo. Playa Sirena is a little island that is off the nation’s southeastern drift. Those searching for an adventure have a chance to go swimming with dolphins on the shoreline. Certainly, this beautiful beach is great for families who are looking for a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy!
