CRUISE THROUGH COSTA RICA

Cruise Through Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a land of adventure. Let’s take a cruise through Costa Rica. One can explore the jungles, see a vast variety of wildlife and see both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Whether you wish to relax on the beaches or immerse yourself in the local culture, there’s something for everyone in this small country. Lovers can find new sparks, historians can experience plenty of material and adventurers have sights to see.

The Beaches Can’t Be Beat

Whether you prefer golden sand, white sand, or any other kind, you’ll find the appropriate beach here. Playa Conchal is one such beach and also one of the most popular. Located in the Guanacaste region, this beach calmly looks out over the Pacific Ocean. Or if you prefer the feel of the Caribbean, the town of Puerto Viejo has a beach right outside. You can wander into town for the vibrant nightlife or a simple meal during a relaxing day at the beach. The province of Limón has many such beaches like this, allowing for all to experience such a good time.

Eco Adventures Await

Despite the small size of the country, Costa Rica has around 5% of the world’s biodiversity. This means that you can explore a variety of areas and find completely different plants and animals. Because of this variety, Costa Rica has a habit of protecting it. About 25% of the country is made up of Natural Parks or some other protected reserve. Specifically, you’ll want to look out for cloud forests. These are tropical forests akin to rainforests but covered with a near-constant mist, giving a fascinating aura to them. These can be found to the north of the capital/capital province of San José in Alajuela and Heredia.

Venture To The Volcanoes

One of the coolest parts of Costa Rica is the abundance of volcanoes that dot the area. The Poás Volcano is located in the Central Highlands of Costa Rica and is one of the most active. On a clear day, you can see both the Atlantic and Pacific from the summit. Then there’s the Tenorio Volcano, which is surrounded by a combination of forests, hot springs, and geysers. You’ll need to access it via the Lago las Dantas Trail, or you would never reach the top. These are just some of the volcanic lands that you can explore in Costa Rica.

Activities Are Abound

If you are a fan of outdoor activities, you’ll never want to leave Costa Rica. Take your family kayaking across the sea or go ziplining with your romantic partner. Have your friends go whitewater rafting or surfing. Snorkeling, swimming, diving, and whale watching are some more water-based activities that you can access.

And this list is just scratching the surface of what Costa Rica has to offer. From the northern province of Alajuela to the southern border of Puntarenas, every piece of Costa Rica has something to offer. Mountains, valleys, beaches, volcanoes, forests, and more await you and whoever you travel within this small, yet fascinating country.
