Travel is my passion, and one I’m excited to share with you! I think travel connects us to interesting people, helps us learn about different cultures, and broadens our view of the world. It takes us to beautiful destinations and allows us to share new adventures with our loved ones.

Hiking, Biking, oh my!

When I travel, I love to find experiences that are outside the ordinary…different from my life at home…adventurous.

My favorite place for adventure is in the Alps of Switzerland. There are so many exciting things to do and see! You can visit a waterfall as it thunders through a mountainside. Take a train into the middle of a mountain or a cable car high up in the peaks and walk on a glacier any time of year. Hike among the wildflowers, crystal clear lakes and the tinkling cowbells while never losing sight of the majestic mountains. Kayak on a turquoise blue lake. The list goes on and on!

Adventure doesn’t have to be something dangerous or scary, but an exciting and remarkable experience. Maybe you dream of taking a cooking class in France? Or wandering among the ruins of Machu Picchu in Peru? Or riding a Vespa through the Tuscan countryside? How would you like to add a little adventure to your next vacation? Let me help you!

Inspired by my own travel, I am excited to help others enjoy quality time together, creating wonderful memories. Many people want to travel, but maybe don’t have the time or knowledge to plan the logistics, details and specifics that go into a great vacation. This is where I come in. As your travel designer, my priority is to research, design, recommend and elevate your trip to meet and exceed expectations. I work with you from the beginning to understand your travel needs, how you like to travel and what you want to experience. It’s my job to handle all the details to make your vacation as smooth and seamless as possible so all you have to do is relax and enjoy!

Marilee was fabulous! She listened to what we were looking for in our vacation, took the time to understand what activities we wanted to pursue, the sights we wanted to visit, and made it all fit within our budget. She was efficient and organized, and took the initiative to provide us options. In addition, she was flexible when we requested a major change in our itinerary at the last minute. On the travel app, she provided even the smallest details so there were no surprises. We were aware of required lodging taxes, to be paid in cash upon check in; how much various attractions would cost and when to arrive for best viewing; identified the best restaurants; recommended scenic walks, etc. She even provided detailed hiking and mountain biking maps of the local area. It been a fantastic experience working with Marilee, and we recommend her without reservation. Just tell her where you want to go, what things you like to do, and when. She’ll take care of the rest!
